These reports cover CPUs, GPUs, and motherboards, and they give us a good idea of what PC gamers are actually buying. And now, the newest update highlights Amazon US sales for November 2025, and AMD absolutely crushed the charts.
According to the numbers, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D generated an incredible $4,399,900 in revenue in a single month, making it the top-earning CPU on Amazon for the month. In second place was another X3D chip, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, which brought in $2,619,960. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D followed with $2,195,940. These three CPUs alone show how strong AMD’s (X3D) 3D V-Cache lineup is, and how much gamers prefer them for high-performance gaming builds.

These numbers also help back up recent motherboard sales, which revealed AMD boards were 10x more popular than Intel over the Black Friday sales period at German retailer Mindfactory.
For comparison, the best-selling Intel CPU in terms of revenue was the Core Ultra 9 285K, which only hit $524,990. That means AMD’s top chip earned just over eight times more than what Intel’s top chip made on the same platform during the same period.
There’s still no full report that includes every CPU sold during November, but the early numbers confirm that AMD is dominating, and it makes sense. The X3D lineup is known for its excellent gaming performance due to the 3D V-Cache technology, which stacks extra cache on top of the chip. That extra cache helps reduce latency and improves how fast the CPU can access important data, which offers an incredible boost to gaming performance in many titles.

Intel does make strong high-end CPUs, but they still don’t have anything that matches AMD’s 3D V-Cache approach. While Intel can sometimes win in raw CPU workloads like rendering or heavy multitasking, AMD continues to dominate in gaming-focused chips. Unless Intel comes up with its own equivalent to X3D, this massive performance gap for gaming seems likely to remain.
