Booking.com for Business, the corporate travel arm of the global travel platform, announced a partnership with meetings management platform Bizly, making the service available to its corporate customers starting today.
“Meetings and events are often ‘the why’ for business travel,” said Joshua Wood, head of Booking.com for Business. “Through our partnership with Bizly we are able to offer the hundreds of thousands of companies who use Booking.com for Business a way to not only manage their business travel, but now also their meetings and events as well.”
The integration will allow Booking.com for Business customers to access Bizly through the platform’s supplier marketplace, including the ability to create teams and add unlimited members.
Bizly’s platform offers venue sourcing with AI-powered natural language search capabilities allowing users to input event requirements and get recommendations across Bizly’s global venue offering that tops one million venues. Venues on the network include hotels, conference centers, private dining rooms, co-working spaces, and experiential venues. The platform also offers a competitive venue bidding process.
The platform supports the process from venue discovery through to guest management and budget tracking. According to Bizly, their AI-powered system can deliver venue proposals in days rather than the weeks typically required through traditional channels. The company also provides concierge support to assist with planning needs ranging from small meetings to major conferences.
While the initial integration offers basic access, future plans include potential deeper integrations through embedding or single sign-on (SSO). Enterprise customers will have options to upgrade for additional features including SSO, preferred venue management, enhanced integrations, approval workflows, and analyze consolidated event data including spend and venue trends.
In February, Bizly acquired group dining platform Kapow from Hello! Destination Management in a cash and equity-based deal.
