Those aren’t the only highly anticipated sequels coming in 2025. Video game fans can also expect Ghost of Yotei, Elden Ring Nightreign, Death Stranding 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, Borderlands 4, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Monster Hunter Wilds, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Slay the Spire 2. Beyond sequels, there are some other big bets on the calendar for 2025, like Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Judas, Riot’s fighting game 2XKO, and South of Midnight. Suffice it to say, it’s currently looking like a big year for new video game releases.
