This processor is a good budget-friendly pick for the RTX 5070, which has a decent core and thread count of 8 and 16, a 5GHz boost clock speed, and a relatively smaller 16MB L3 cache. For 1440p gaming, multitasking, and moderately demanding creative workflows, it’s not too bad at all, and certianly helps this PC stay more affordable than most RTX 5070 options.
Storage and RAM
You’ve got a smaller, but still okay, 1TB SSD with this build. That’s enough room for a handful of large AAA games, which is good for most people. What’s great to see is that this PC packs 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which in itself is a win considering how prices are skyrocketing right now.
Things to consider
For an RTX 5070 gaming PC, this price is hard to beat, but we would say the processor isn’t going to blow anyone away. For an RTX 5070, something like a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or an Intel Core 7-265K would be a good mid-range option for most, both of which have much larger L3 caches. That being said, it really does help keep the costs down, and this is arguably one of the most affordable RTX 5070 PC’s we’ve come across.
