We’re back today with a review of a custom model of the RTX 5090, and not just any custom model, as we’re talking about a ROG Astral LC RTX 5090. This model, as its name suggests, is a Liquid Cooling version, meaning that an AIO-type liquid cooling system is in charge of keeping the graphics chip and memory chips cool. We also had the opportunity to review the Astral model in aircooling version with the ROG RTX 5080 Astral. Today, we’re going to take a look at the performance of this model, which is currently one of the most powerful on the market.

You’ll find out how this new RTX 5090 compares with the previous generation, and the potential of DLSS 4 on this model. We’ll also be looking to see whether a card with factory overclocking can do even better than the NVIDIA RTX 5090 Founders Edition, and with what margin for improvement.

Many thanks to ASUS France for making this copy of the ROG Astral LC RTX 5090 available to us.
