We’ll take a look at each component to see what this bundle is offering.
ASRock B650M X3D Pro WiFi
This is a budget processor with the B650 chipset, and it is optimized for X3D processors. It features an 8+2+1 power delivery design, which should be enough to power the 5800X3D, 7800X3D, or the 9800X3D. It can also handle memory overclocking of up to 8,000+ MHz with AMD Expo or Intel XMP.
There is also a PCIe 5.0 connection for an SSD, which means that you can enjoy fast load and boot times and great efficiency. There are also plenty of thermal guards on the board for the M.2 drive, VRMs, and more. WiFi 6E and a 2.5G LAN port should ensure that you stay connected without running into interference, lag, or stuttering issues.
ASRock Challenger RX 7700 XT
This ASRock bundle also includes the RX 7700 XT, which is a solid mid-range GPU. We’ve reviewed the Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 7700 XT. While this isn’t the same as the Challenger, fundamentally, they are the same, and the ASRock variant should have better performance as it has a higher boost clock speed of 2584 MHz compared to the Sapphire 7700 XT’s 2,544 MHz.
For gaming, we ran a bunch of titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Far Cry 6. In the former title, we got 122 FPS at 1080p, 79 FPS at 1440p, and 36 FPS at 4K native. Far Cry 6 ran at 153 FPS at FHD, 122 FPS at QHD, and 68 FPS at UHD. So, depending on the title and how graphically demanding it is, this GPU is capable of pushing 4K, but it isn’t its strong suit. Playing games at 1440p and 1080p is more suited for it.
ASRock Phantom Gaming PG-750G PSU
To put everything together, you’ll get a 750W PSU with an 80 Plus Gold and Cybenetics Platinum rating. This means that it should be highly efficient, saving on electricity bills in the long run, as the majority of the power it pulls will be directed to the PC, rather than being lost in transport or converted into heat.

For under $700, you’re getting three solid mid-range components to get started with your AM5 PC build, so we think that anyone looking to get the maximum value for money should seriously consider this bundle.
