Strata, a London-based brand experience agency group backed by private equity firm Ethos Partners, has acquired Wonderland Agency, a female-led experiential event production firm also based in the UK capital.
Wonderland, founded in 2008 by Lora Lutostanska-Enthoven, has worked with brands including Amazon, Red Bull, SHEIN, Microsoft, TikTok, Vinted, L’Oréal, and HubSpot. Over the past two years, the agency has executed hundreds of events across Europe, the U.S., and APAC, across tech, beauty, finance, fashion, and media.
“By bringing Wonderland into the Strata family, we’re backing an entrepreneurial, creatively led team and giving them the additional support and capabilities that come with being part of a wider group, enabling them to grow their reach and strengthen their position in the market.,” said Simon Hambley, group CEO of Strata.
“This next chapter is about focus,” said Lutostanska-Enthoven, founder and outgoing owner of Wonderland. “In Strata, we’ve found a partner that understands experiential and will protect the culture and the craft as we grow.”
The acquisition follows Strata’s aggressive buy-and-build strategy. Since its 2018 formation through the merger of two agencies led by Hambley and Cole Mulkerrins, Strata has acquired event production business On Event Production Co., venue sourcing provider Trinity Event Solutions, and incentive agency Element London. The company now has a headcount of around 200, and will add around 70 more staff from Wonderland.
This deal is the latest in a string of mergers and acquisitions that closed out 2025 and kicked off the year. In a single day in December, five major transactions were announced.
The activity continued as in the first week of 2026, Nineteen Group announced three acquisitions as well as a leadership transition.
