The Things You Need, At A Nice Price
Corsair’s Frame 4000D is not a new case but it is definitely one worth remembering if you are shopping for a new enclosure. You can pick up a version of the Frame 4000D without any fans for $100 which lets you reuse any fans you might have from an old build without spending any extra money, or pick up brand new ones of your choice. If you spend an extra ~$15 for the 4000D RS you get three RS120 performance fans already installed and if you give Corsair another $!0 you can get the RGB infused version. It’s always nice to have choices, especially at these prices.
For that low cost you get space for another nine fans or the equivalent radiators, which are easily installed even for a first time system builder. That simplicity is the main drive behind the design of the Frame 4000D. There are some cases on the market now which are gorgeous and let you do very interesting things with cable management, motherboards with rear mounted plugs and PCIe risers which are great for the experienced system builder. For the first time builder they are more than a bit challenging to work with so if you know someone interested in taking up our favourite hobby you should let them know about Guru 3D’s review of Corsair’s Frame 4000D.
